Rainbow Cupcakes!

So with a little extra encouragement due to Katie's post about her cupcakes I decided to try out the rainbow cupcakes. I couldn't figure out how to post the pics on her blog so I'm posting them on mine! Here you go Katie Love!

It was a lot of fun. MyKenna helped me fill the cupcakes and she picked the order that we filled them in we its a giant mess because as you can guess Kenna's tiny hands don't have the control that mine do :) It was fun and she loved it I didn't get any pictures of Kenna cuz she took so long eating lunch I was already putting Sadie down for a nap when she devoured hers. But they were a big hit and this might just be the winner for Kenna's birthday party next month!!

Color Crazy!

So since it is St. Patty's day I decided to do what my dad used to do for us! DYE the food Green!

Kevin was somewhat horrified by it but I love it! Sadie wasn't too sure about it at first but after a little she realized it was just normal :) I am sad that MyKenna wasn't here to enjoy but a friend of mine suggested I just do it when she gets back, since Jace isn't bringing her until around eight I think I will just have to come up with a fun evening snack that is green! Jewelry for sale

So Kim, Iris and myself are "crafty" we make beaded jewelry, chain jewelry, and Iris crochets the most beautiful head bands and purses. So we got up early and set up shop at the monthly festival at Bashas, well today is also the Ostrich Festival so foot traffic was lacking. I sold two pieces of jewelry and Iris sold one headband, Kim was ahead of the game and sold five items. The hot selling item of the day was the flower clips my niece and her friend put together. We didn't make much money but we sure had fun anyway!

Long week

This Kid, poor baby gets sick all the time it seems! She had an upper respiratory infection which has caused and ear infection. So every morning it seems I get her out of bed and have to wipe off her whole face to clear off the snot and tears caused from all this sickness. Poor thing and I know she is absolutely miserable because she is sitting right next to Kenna and won't even lift a hand to pull her hair! Thats her favorite thing to do it seems, she loves hearing Kenna yell it seems. :) Its funny. But its been a long week with poor Sadie and even worse our health insurance was canceled and is taking forever to get reinstated so we can't even take her to the Dr. to have her looked at and we are looking at some pricey antibiotics which we can't afford with out the insurance so the poor baby has to suffer because someone at the freaking office didn't tell me that i was missing paperwork until it was already canceled!!

Well tomorrow is the "fair" at Bashas' and Kim, Iris, and myself are going to try and sell some of the jewelry and other crafts we have been making. So tonight I will be having a sleepover at Kim's with Iris and all the kids!! Yea that makes six kids under the age of 4! Call us crazy but its always a huge mess and soo much fun. Except I'm gonna have to keep Sadie in quarantine from the other kids so she won't get them sick or heaven forbid sicker. Right now the sweet baby is asleep in my arms and I'm remembering how hard it is to type with 18 pounds resting on your forearms.

Kevin is starting his EMT refresher course this weekend so in a few weeks we hope he might be able to get on with an ambulance company or even dare I hope the fire department!!! He has already done all of the work and schooling to be a firefighter but with the lack of jobs in that area and extra skills he has are so important so we are bulking up his resume. Even if this means sacrificing our time together for a couple of weeks. But I do miss having him around the kids seem less out of control when he is home. Although the house is rather clean due to the fact that Kev feels bad about having to be gone so while I go to bed "early" he sneaks around the house cleaning to lighten the load a little on me which I appreciate so much! I love that man!

When Daddy is away us Girlies will Play!

Since Kevin is out camping and the girls were going crazy cooped up in the house we went shopping. We had fun we each got a new dress for church, and I even got new shoes! We shopped for about an hour and the MyKenna said those great words "Mom, let's got eat at chikafila!" What a smart little girl. She is always full of good ideas! So that what we did we went and had chicken and the girls played until they were all played out. We got home in time to get Kevin's call, "Hey honey, we are just leaving the campsite I should be home soon" And this would have been fine if he hadn't called me this morning and said the exact same thing. So instead of keeping the girl up I let them take a nap since I know now that I have at least two hours before I have to pick him up from the church. And this morning my father in law finally dropped off my desk, so now I can use my awesome computer that my dad gave me and I have my dinning room table back! All in all its been a pretty good day so far and my Mother in law just called to see what time she is babysitting tonight, sneaky Kevin with his surprise dates! Maybe I'll wear my new dress out tonight!

Catching up

So it's been awhile since I've posted yikes. Time flys and you don't even notice.

Our little family has been so busy lately it seems every time i turn around someone

needs to go somewhere. Kevin recently got a calling as Assistant Scout Master, and I received my calling to nursery. I couldn't be more excited! I guess they got tired of me cruising the halls with Sadie. She is such a sweetheart until I walk into Relief Society then she turns in to a monster! She is now 14 months! She is such a funny little person.

This weekend Iris and her kids came up to visit. We had tons of fun, did tons and tons of dishes and laundry, and I think in the course of two days we bathed the kids at least a half dozen times! Four kids in my small house is insane! I love it. Iris and I beaded after the kids were in bed, well most of them at least Bradley is like king of staying up late. All in all it was a fun time, my girls enjoyed the company of the kids, except Sadie and June have this funny feud going, its so funny watching them fight over anything. Sadie kept stealing June's bottle and June stole Sadie's cup and they would just scream at each other. It was hilarious!

Kevin is gone this weekend off camping with the boy scouts from our ward, so it's just me and the girls. Tomorrow we are going to visit Papi and Tita(my mom and dad) the girls adore them. So that should be fun and I think I might sneak over to the bead store since Kevin isn't here :)
