Afternoon with the boys

After playgroup this morning I brought my nephews home with me. They are so fun and super cute. We had lunch and played games. Kenna taught them to play Hungry Hungry Hippos, and we played with legos. They built all sorts of creations from their minds. It was so funny to hear them talk and plan out games with MyKenna. At some point they were talking about being secret agents and having to go save baby Sadie from the moster (Braedan) who was guarding her castle(crib), at some point B had crawled in there to keep her company, since she couldn't be out because of the tinyness of the legos. It was a fun afternoon, the boys kept my girls busy enough that I even got some cleaning done, and by some I mean very little :) It was a fun afternoon now I'm gonna curl up with Kenna while Sadie naps and we are going to watch Alice in Wonderland.

A whole nothing day

So as it turns out we had tons of stuff to get done today mostly automotive time boring stuff. We had to take both cars down to my Father in laws (FIL) so Kevin could give a tune up and fix whatever problem it has been having. So as it turns out the part that we needed isn't very common and has to be special ordered and all that. So we drove around to various auto parts store because we didn't think of checking around online prior to leaving the house. We also had to go and change the title of our new car over to our name, but we couldn't do that because the car needs and emission test and we didn't have time to get that done today. It was a long day which isn't even half over. We had to rush home so I could clean up and start dinner for the missionaries while Kevin drove Cole home. So I rush and rush and clean and cook. The dinner was great (mandarin chicken, eggrolls, and crab puffs) and we had lots of fun. Now they are gone and Kevin went to do more work on the cars, while I wait for my mom and clean up the mess of dishes in my kitchen and fold the insane stack of laundry I have been neglecting for a couple of days now. But instead here I am blogging about it instead haha.

Dear Nursery Children

You are all so stinking cute! I love how you listen to me teach the lesson and how you answer my questions. It is so adorable how you all play together and that you all let Sadie baby take whatever toy she wants even if you are playing with it. I have so much fun being in there with you. I hope that when they fill up all the positions in our “new” ward that I get to be in there with you again! I love how you girls always ask me if you look cute and if your dresses are pretty. I love the little boys who all of a sudden tell me that when they grow up they want to marry me.
Most the big people in our ward aren’t big fans of being in nursery but I love love love it! My Sundays wouldn’t be as fun without you. Thank you little ones for letting me be your friend and teacher

Back to School Back to School

Finally after a few years I have decided what to study in school! It took me so long but I now know thanks to my church calling, and having kids I want to be a preschool teacher! So I am enrolling in my classes all online (makes life easier with being able to study from home) at CAC this semester I will be completing 12 of my 64 credits!! I can’t wait! I have to apply for a couple of scholarships, I have applied and been approved for financial aid so all I have left is to go and enroll later today before all the class I want are all full up! Plus some of the classes I am taking Kevin took last semester so I won’t even have to buy a book!! I am so excited to finally have made a choice, one I can stick with and one I know I will enjoy. I love little 3 and 4 year olds they are fascinating, and hopefully this will also help me be the mom I want to be.
